Lint Brush Vacuum Attachment

This brush is ideal for pet hair!!!! (Cats at least.) The description on this site misses the main point (unless they edit after reading this review): The red "felt" lint brushes are directional. They grab fur in one direction and release it in the other. The two brushes are mounted in opposite directions. The genius feature is that they release the fur only when the direction of the brush would release the fur into the vacuum port. Just rub on upholstery or carpet, back and forth. The brush picks up fur and cleans itself with every pair of strokes! Brilliant! It lasts a long time too. My first one lasted at least six years before some of the red brush started to wear in one corner. (I still keep it as a spare.) I use this on upholstery, bed spreads, and carpeted stairs, while attached to just the hose handle. When my powered head broke once, I used this with my vac's long wand too. It worked fine on the full floor carpet, but it's not as wide as a typical floor brush or powered head, and it took more effort to push/pull, so it doesn't really replace the powered head, but it does work when you're in a pinch. I highly recommend this brush if you have pets.
